Terms of Service
These Terms govern your access to and use of CardDrama. Please read them before creating an account or using the Service.
Effective and last updated: August 30, 2026
1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Felix, an individual operating CardDrama (“CardDrama,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). CardDrama is a trade or service name and is not represented as a corporation or other registered legal entity. By creating an account, accessing, or using the CardDrama website, application, APIs, or related services (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old. If you have not reached the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Service only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian who has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. You must provide accurate account information, keep access to your email account secure, and promptly notify us of unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
You may not share an account in a way that bypasses plan limits or use automated methods to create accounts, obtain credits, or evade enforcement.
3. The Service
CardDrama helps organize scripts into production data such as characters, scenes, shots, continuity notes, and model-aware generation instructions. The Service may change as we improve it. We may add, remove, limit, or discontinue features, provided that we will not avoid obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.
The Service is a creative production tool, not legal, medical, financial, or professional production advice.
4. Your content and ownership
You retain ownership of content you submit and the rights you may have in outputs generated for you. These Terms do not transfer ownership of your screenplays, characters, project data, or exports to CardDrama.
You grant CardDrama a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, reproduce, format, transmit, and process your content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service for you. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for protected backups, legal retention, and content you intentionally shared with others.
You represent that you have all rights and permissions needed to submit and process the content, and that doing so does not violate law, privacy, confidentiality, publicity, intellectual-property, or contractual rights.
5. AI features and outputs
The Service uses third-party AI models to analyze scripts and produce structured data or instructions. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, inconsistent, offensive, or similar to content produced for other users. You must review output before relying on, publishing, or using it in production.
You are responsible for determining whether your inputs and outputs can lawfully be used, including conducting appropriate copyright, trademark, privacy, and clearance reviews. CardDrama does not guarantee that an output is unique, non-infringing, production-ready, or accepted by another generation platform.
You may not use AI features to generate or facilitate illegal exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, child sexual abuse material, targeted harassment, malicious impersonation, fraud, or instructions intended to cause serious harm.
6. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Break the law or infringe another person’s rights.
- Upload malware, probe security, bypass access controls, disrupt the Service, or obtain unauthorized access.
- Reverse engineer or extract source code except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
- Scrape, resell, sublicense, or provide the Service as a competing hosted service without written permission.
- Misrepresent AI output as verified fact or use the Service to deceive people about material real-world events.
- Submit personal or confidential information you are not authorized to process.
We may investigate suspected violations and restrict content or accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, the Service, or third parties.
7. Plans, credits, cancellation, and refunds
Paid plans, credit packages, taxes, billing periods, usage limits, and renewal terms will be shown at checkout. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You authorize our payment provider to charge the selected payment method for recurring fees and applicable taxes.
Credits measure access to specified processing features. They are not money, stored value, cryptocurrency, or transferable property. Promotional or plan credits may expire as stated in the offer. A failed eligible analysis is normally restored automatically, but abuse, duplicate requests, or provider outages may require review.
You may cancel a subscription before the next renewal through the available account or payment portal. Cancellation stops future renewals and normally takes effect at the end of the paid period.
Except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout, fees already paid are non-refundable and unused credits have no cash value. If we approve a refund, it will generally be returned through the original payment method. Statutory cooling-off, cancellation, or refund rights remain unaffected.
8. Third-party services
The Service interoperates with cloud, email, database, AI-model, payment, and external generation providers. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. CardDrama is not responsible for third-party tools you choose to use, their outputs, availability, policy decisions, or changes.
9. CardDrama intellectual property
The Service, software, interface, documentation, branding, and related materials are owned by CardDrama or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your internal creative and commercial production work.
If you send feedback, you permit us to use it without restriction or compensation, but you are not required to provide feedback.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create security or legal risk, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that could harm others. Where reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and dispute terms—will survive.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, uninterrupted availability, and results. We do not guarantee that AI analysis will identify every production fact or continuity conflict.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CardDrama and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, productions, or business opportunities arising from the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for claims arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid CardDrama for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or (b) US$100.
These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.
13. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold CardDrama harmless from third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your material breach of these Terms. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from CardDrama’s own breach or misconduct.
14. Governing law and disputes
Because CardDrama currently operates without a registered business jurisdiction, these Terms are governed by the law that applies under relevant conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer protections available where you live.
A dispute may be brought before any court or tribunal that has lawful jurisdiction under applicable procedural and consumer-protection rules.
Before filing a formal claim, please contact us and allow 30 days to try to resolve the dispute informally. This does not prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief or using a small-claims process where available.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service, law, or risk. We will post the revised Terms and update the effective date. If a material change adversely affects your rights, we will provide additional notice where required. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, unless applicable law requires another form of consent.
